1. What Information We Collect
When you interact with TradingBotLab, we only ask for what we actually need to provide you with a great experience. We believe in keeping data collection to a minimum.
Basic Account Information
- Your Identity: Your name and email address so we know who you are and where to send your software.
- Trading Credentials: Your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) account numbers. We need these exclusively to lock your purchased software licenses to your specific accounts for security.
Partner & Affiliate Data
- Payout Details: Information necessary to send you the commissions you've earned if you are part of our Affiliate Program.
- Tracking Cookies: We use cookies to track referrals so you get the credit you deserve when someone signs up through your link.
2. How We Handle Live Results
Transparency in trading is critical. When you look at our live performance dashboards, you're seeing real data, handled responsibly.
- Metrics Syncing:If an MT5 tracker is running, our systems securely pull real-time trading metrics. This includes things like your current floating profit or loss, your history of closed trades, and your total account equity.
- Strict Isolation:This performance data is purely used to run the analytics you see on our public dashboards. We are firmly against selling your trading data to third parties. Your strategies remain yours.
3. Why We Use Your Information
We don't collect data just to have it. Every piece of information serves a specific purpose in running the platform:
- A.To Deliver Products: Getting your Expert Advisors (EAs) and specialized `.set` optimization files directly to your inbox.
- B.To Provide Updates: We constantly improve our algorithms. We need your contact info to notify you when a better, faster version is ready for download.
- C.To Enforce Security: Managing the MT5 account binding system ensures that licenses aren't abused or pirated.
- D.To Pay You: Processing and calculating global affiliate commissions accurately.
4. Security & Integrations
We rely on trusted global standards to keep your experience secure.
Google Authentication
To save you time, you can log in using Google. We use OAuth 2.0, meaning we never see or store your Google password. Google simply hands us a secure "yes, this is them" token, along with basic info like your name and email, just to create your lab account.
Payment Processors
You'll see logos for various payment methods (like Binance, USDT, etc.). These are just to help you identify how you can pay. We don't claim to be officially partnered with them, and more importantly, because we handle payments manually, it is entirely your responsibility to double-check wallet addresses before sending funds. We cannot recover funds sent to the wrong address.
5. Policy Updates
As the platform grows, we might need to tweak this policy. We reserve the right to update this document without sending out a blast to everyone beforehand. We encourage you to check back here every now and then to make sure you're still comfortable with how we operate.
